The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Latowsky Funeral Home at New Douglas. Rev. Latham, pastor of the Methodist Church at Staunton, will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery at Alton"
    Parents
Sophronia's death index names her parents as "Joe Culberson" and "A. L. Housman." The transcription from the death certificate was obviously in error on the latter, which probably actually gave her mother's last name: "Alhousen."  [4
