  	Obituary, Edwardsville Intelligencer "Grantfork, IL--August Ackerman died Wednesday at 10:00 p.m., at a St. Louis hospital at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 5 days. Since the death of his wife, Feb. 14, 1938, he had been making his home with Mrs. Anna Schott. He is survived by two sons, John, of Mt. Olive, Elvin, of Oswego, N.Y., and two daughters, Mrs. Anna Schott and Mrs. Christian March of St. Louis. Funeral services were held at Latowsky Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Arby Hosto officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Alton."
