  	Obituary of Hazel's husband, Eugene Lallier, 1962, The Leavenworth Times (Kansas): "Eugene Lallier, 58, Funeral is Friday Eugene Lallier, 58, 711 Chestnut, resident of Leavenworth County most of his lifetime, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at his home. He had been under the care of a physician for some time, but his death was unexpected. Mr.Lallier was born in Wyandotte County near Wolcott Oct. 16, 1903, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Lallier, early day residents of Kansas. The family moved to Leavenworth County when he was a small boy. They settled near the Boling Community. He attended rural schools and for many years operated a gasoline and oil tank sago in the country. He was married to Miss Hazel Lane, Mary 20, 1925 in Savannah, Mo. Mrs. Lallier died Mary 20, 1947. He had been a custodial officer at the Kansas State Penitentiary since 1957. He was a member of the Christian Church and Levenworth Lodge No. 2 AF&AM. Surviving are three sons, Eugene Russell Lallier of Valley Falls; Wayne Lallier and Leland Lallier of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ida Lallier of RR 3; one brother Henry E. Lallier of 120810th Ave., and seven sisters, Mrs. Wilson Gruendel of Gallula; Mrs. Edna Stigmire, 1680 Grand Ave.' Mrs. Richard New of RR 3; Mrs. Warren Scott of DeSoto, Kan.' Mrs. Howard Goble of Venice, Calif.' Mrs. Dick Lee of McLouth, and Mrs. Marie Merawski of 610 Quincy, and two grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sexton Funeral Chapel. Rev. Clayton Hildebrand, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Muncie Cemetery. Leavenworth Lodge No. 2 will conduct a graveside service. Friends may call at the chapel."
