[Article can be found. He evidently attempted to sexually assault Leva Carter, an employee at the Commercial Hotel in West Plains. Attacked on July 8. He had been a boarder but got behind with his board and was not occupying a room there when the assault occurred. The girl informed her box and they went to the police where a warrant was sworn out. She was frightened enough that she quit her job and moved back to her relatives in the country. He paid a $5 fine]
