    Memorial and Celebration of Life services for Mr. John Peyton Lacroix were held at Quest Community Church, Lexington, Ky. on Friday, May 31, 2013.

    A Memorial and Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Palestine United Methodist Church with the Reverends Jerry Crise and Lewis Morris officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

    John Peyton Lacroix entered eternal rest with his Lord and Savior May 23 in his residence in Wilmore, Kentucky.

    He was a member and very active in Quest Community Church, Lexington, Ky Prior to that he was a member of First United Methodist, Prineville and was active in the choir and youth groups there. he grew up in Palestine United Methodist Church of Prineville and was a member of the choir. he was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners.

    John was born on September 26, 1950 in New Roads, La. to Peton C. LCrois and Eva Gravier Lacroix and baptized at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Rosedale, La. Shortly after his birth they moved back to the Tioga area.

    Those left to mourn his death are one son Peyton Lee Lacroix of Lexington, Ky.; one sister Eva J. Worsham, of Prineville, two nieces, one great niece, one great nephew and one great great nephew, numerous cousins and many friends. He touched many lives and his bright smile and winning personality will be sorely missed.

    He was preceded in death by his parents Peyton and Eva Gravier Lacroix, one nephew and one great niece, Paternal grandparents James Peyton Lacroix and Laura Alice Baron LaCroix and maternal grandparents John and Ritha Gravier.

    Services for Eva Gravier Lacroix will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in St. Michael\'s Episcopal Church, Prineville, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Asel officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Prineville, under direction of Hinson Bros.

    Mrs. LaCroix, 72, of Prineville died at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Rapides General Hospital.

    She was a retired office manager formerly employed by Kingsley Orthopaedic Clinic. She was a native of Selma and the widow of Payton C. Lacroix.

    Survivors include one son, John P. Lacroix of Deville; one daughter Eva J. Worsham of Prineville; one sister, Betty Bassinger of Fort Worth, Texas; her stepmother, Annie Gravier of Laurel, Miss.\' two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services Sunday in the church.
