"Obituary?Innes
Lawrence Everett Innes was born December 30, 1918, in Smith Center and departed this life January 19, 1919, at the age of 2 weeks and 6 days, at his home in Smith Center. He leaves his father, two sisters and one brother to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the home, conducted [sic] by Rev. Cutler, and the body laid to rest in Fairview cemetery. Oh, tiny rose from the garden of love, oh, beautiful, beautiful boy; now to the kingdom of such as you, there's added another joy. There's an ache in the hearts you left behind, but such is the Father's will?and though the vase crumble to dust, rose-babe, your sweetness will bless their lives still." |
