  Note	WRONG: Many Ancestry trees assign him a wife, Margaret Houston. There is a marriage for Thomas S. Martin and Margeret "Houstin" in Ray Co MO. This couple had children Allen and Zola. However, Thomas S. Martin who married Margaret Houston has a Missouri death certificate indicating his parents were Allen Martin and Harriet Babbit. Nothing further is known of the subject Thomas Martin after his appearance in the family home in 1880 census.
