Obituary of infant daughter:
"Funeral services for Alice Fay Manry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Manry of the Burns community northwest of Marlow, were held at the Steele Funeral home Friday afternoon. Rev. Russell T. Trammell conducted the service. Burial was in the Anadarko cemetery.
The child was born Feb. 28, in a local hospital and died the same day. Survivors besides the parents are two sisters, Gladys Pauline and Betty Jo." |

"Mrs. Manry Dies Ill Three Weeks
Resident of Burns Community Mother of Two Daughters
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Loraine Manry, wife of C. E. Manry of the Burns community were held Friday afternoon at the Steele Funeral home with burial in the Marlow cemetery. Rev. Russell T. Trammel officiated.
Mrs. Manry died at 2:30 a.m. on March 22. She had been ill three weeks following the birth of a daughter, Alice Fay, stillborn in Feb. 28. Mrs. Manry is survived by her husband and two daughters, Gladys Pauline, 14, and Betty Jo, 9, both at home. Her mother, Mrs. Bobby Clark, lives at Anadarko and a sister, Mrs. Mamie Rose, Coolidge, Ariz.' two brothers, Marvin Clark, Gracemont, and John Clark of Norman. All the relatives were here for funeral services.
Mrs. Manry was born March 7, 1910 at Dover and was 36 years old at death. She and Mr. Manry ere married Dec. 3, 1928 at Anadarko. They moved to the present home in the Burns district in 1943." |

C. E. Manry filed a petition this week in County Court for letters of administration to the estate of his wife Mrs. Alice Manry, who died March 21, 1946 without a ill. She left an estate of about $2,000. Heirs to the estate are her husband and two daughters, Gladys Pauline Manry, 14, and Bettie Joe Manry, 9, both of Marlow. W. M. Pugh of Marlow is the attorney for the case." |
