Mrs. Erpha Beulah Jolley, wife of Sam P. Jolley, Frisco switchman, died Thursday evening about eight o\'clock of carcinoma of sigmoid, following an illness of several months. She was 31 years old and leaves a husband and four children, Florence, Ruth, Robert and Samuel Jolley.\" |

Monett--Funeral services for Samuel Patterson Jolley, Jr., 52, of Monett, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Moss-York Chapel here with the Rev. M. E. Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery here.
Mr. Jolley died at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Veterans Hospital in Kansas City, where he had been a patient the past two months.
He had lived in Monett most of his life and was a former railroad employe [sic.] Mr. Jolley was a member of the Baptist church, was a veteran of World War II, and was active in the VFW and American Legion.
Surviving are his wife Madeline; his mother, Mrs. Nina Jolley, of Monett; a son, Samuel Jolley, III, of Monett; a daughter, Mrs. Lyn Carnes, Raymondville, Mo.\' a step-son James Pennel, of Monett; a step-daughter, Mrs. Wilma Serls, of Bolivar; two brothers, Robert Jolley, of St. Louis, and Everett Garland, of Monett; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Anderson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mrs. Ruth Perry, St. Louis, Mrs. Jean Novice, Newark, M. J., and Mrs. Teddy Ferguson, Titusville, Fla.\' and four grandchildren.\" |

Monett? Graveside services for Nina Inez Jolley, 94, Lacoba Nursing Home, Monett, will be at 10 a.m. today in IPOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Dixon officiating under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jolley died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing home after a short illness.
Born in Dallas County, she lived most of her life in this area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monett, a member of Eastern Star since 1926 and a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of U.T.U.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ruth J. Perry, St. Louis, Mrs. Florene Riley, North Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Jane Ferguson, Titusville, Fla., and Mrs. Jean Novice, South Orange, N.J.; a son, Everett Garland, Billings; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Monett.\" |
