The Oregonian:\"It took a city park to be big enough for the family of Mrs. William (Nancy) Stanfill to celebrate her 80th birthday Thursday.
Miss Stanfill has 109 direct descendants who gathered from California, Washington an [sic] Oregon for the event. There are nine children, 35 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.\" |

The Oregonian:\"Nancy Stanfill
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the West Chapel of the Apostolic Faith Church for Nancy Stanfill who died in a nursing home Sunday. She was 93.
Mrs. Stanfill was born in Lebanon, Mo., in 1885 and came to Portland in 1910. She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church for 60 years.
Survivors include eight sons, Furnace, Virgil L., Robert and Donald, all of Portland, William C. and Willis H., both of Lincoln City, Thomas K. of Newport, and Benjamin of Placerville, Calif. She is also survived by a sister, Clara Farmer of Portland, and 36 grandchildren.
Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. |
