Jolley, 1315 Southeast Twenty-ninght avenue was taken into custody by Detectives Crisp and Yeoman\'s yesterday and ordered held as a fugitive from Albany. He was reported as having escaped from jail there after being fined $100 and sentenced to a 30-day jail term following conviction in August on a drunken-driving charge.\" |

The Oregonian:\"LA Man Dies; Family Sought
Relatives of the late Joseph H. Jolley, 72, Los Angeles man who died Saturday, are seeking a son and a daughter so they can inform them of the father\'s death.
Jolly, who had lived most of his life in the Woodstock area and raised his family there, had been in Los Angeles the last four years. He arrived at Estacada Friday evening to visit one of the daughters, Louis Louer, succumbing to a heart attack there Saturday morning.
The son, Jesse Jolley, about 33, and the daughter, Marie Head, about 40, are believed to be in the Portland area.
Mr. Jolley is also survived by three sisters, Clara Farmer, Nancy Stanfill and Pearl O\'Brien, Portland, and a brother, Sam of Monet [sic], Mo.
Persons knowing the whereabouts of Jesse and Marie are asked to contact either Mrs. Louer or Mrs. Farmer, 1800 SE 39th Ave.
Service for Mr. Jolley will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery.\" |
