"Dale G. Campbell Services Thursday
Funeral services for Dale Gardner Campbell, who died Tuesday at a local hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Chapl of Memories Mortuary.
The Rev. Palmer Pierce will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Campbell was co-owner of Pikes Peak Traler Supply, Inc. He formerly owned A & A Truck Lines and was a former partner of Udick Tire Shop. He lived at 626 Pleasant St.
He was born May 11, 1912 in Mountain View, Mo., and came here in 1926 from Kansas. He was graduated in 1941 from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Campbell belonged to the both of Colorado Springs: a IOOF and Lions Club in Kansas, was a Cub Scout leader and helped with Young American League Baseball for three years here.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Genevieve Campbell; a son Dale Campbell, Jr. of Colorado Srings; two daughters, Cherly and Julia Campbell, both of Colorado Springs; a sister Mrs. Louise Hill and a brother Lyn Campbell, also of Colorado Springs, and two grandchildren." |
