    Estelle C. Deaton passed away on Jan. 7, 2012. He was born on Nov. 19, 1918, in Chandler, Oklahoma, to James William & Minnie Ann (DeBoard) Deaton. Estelle graduated from Choctaw High School in 1936 and went to work for O. N. G. until being drafted into the U.S. Army in Feb. 1941. Estelle was discharged in Oct. 1945 after being awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. In Oct. 1945, he married Doris Maxine (Ford). They raised two children, Dorene (Seeger) and Danny. During this time, Estle returned to work for O.N.G. and retired in 1980. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ola Faye; and brother, Leroy. He is survived by his wife, Doris; daughter, Dorene Seeger; son, Danny Deaton; two brothers; one sister; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at Wilshire Church of Christ on Wed., Jan. 11, 2012, at 10 a.m., with burial at Memorial Par Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wilshire Church of Christ Africa Mission fund in memory of Estle Deaton.
