    \"Burnace Stanfill

    Burnace R. Stanfill, a self-employed plastering contractor for 40 years, died in a Portland hospital Thursday. He was 74.

    Mr. Stanfill was born in Trinidad, Colo., but had lived in the Portland area since 1910. He was past president of the Northwest Plaster Bureau and the local chapter of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society.

    After retiring from plastering in 1970, he was manager of Chapman Refrigeration Manufacturers Inc. and oversaw the installation of many tree storage coolers for the U.S. Forest Service.

    He taught refrigeration courses at Clark County and Portland community colleges.

    Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; a daughter, Nancy A. Bush; sons Bernard, Gary, Glen and Roy; and brothers Francis, Willis, Robert, Donald and Bill?all of Portland. Also surviving are a sixth brother, Benjamin, of Placerville, Calif.\' 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

    Funeral will be at Holman\'s Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, with interment in Willamette National Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Portland Police Bureau\'s Sunshine Division.\"
