Obit of wife Wanda M. Chastain, The Oregonian:\"Wanda M Stanfill
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Lincoln Willamette Funeral directors for Wanda M. Stanfill, a Northeast Portland resident who died Thursday in a Portland hospital. She was 69.
Mrs. Stanfill, born in Selma, was a member an former officer of the Teamsters Union Ladies Auxiliary Joint Council 37. She also was a member of the Northeast Ladies Garden Club and was active with the Little League in East Portland. She had lived in Portland since 1941.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil L., sons, Jimmie and Jerry, both of Portland; daughters, Beverly Merrett of Portland and Bonnie Almond of Milwaukie; brothers, Delman Chasten of Roseburg, Leslie Chasten of Portland and Ernest Chasten of Mapleton; and sisters, Lucille Cripps and Rena Heibert, both of Portland, Nadine Hall of Central Point and Beth Goddin of Hacienda Heights Calif.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions for heart research at Providence Medical Center.
Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.\" |
