  NOTE_RESEARCH	Uncertain about his marriage(s). 1942 WWII Draft reg names wife Jenny Marie Gillmor. 1940 census names wife "Jessica Gillmor," but they are living next to B. C. Woodruff born in Iowa. 1920 Crawford Co IA census reflects B. C. Woodruff household with wife Martha born in Wisconsin, daughter Jennie age 17 (born abt. 1903). This is consistent with the "Jessica" enumerated with iIa in 1940. It seems likely that "Jessica" Gillmor is the same as the "Jennie Marie Gillmor" named in 1942 WWII draft reg. See notes under marriage. A Marie Howarth Lyon was born around the same time, died in Silver Springs Md 1996, married to Henry Arthur Lyon, NOT the same woman,.

  	This marriage appears to have ended. A Marie Howorth Mason is found in the California death index, b 17 April 1901, Iowa, mother's maiden name Downs. Ira and Marie's Crawford Co IA marriage record (Ancestry) states that her mother was Lucinda Downs and that she was 19 years old in 1919. Marie Mason's FindAGrave in Gilroy, Santa Clara County CA indicates birth of 1900 and death in 1950. It is not connected with any other family members. No census or other data indicates that they had children together. Although Ira married again, it appears that he had no issue. (Unconfirmed.)
