  	The Rock Island Argus: "Alex Boyle Alex Boyle, an old and well known resident of Hamlet, died at his home Saturday. He had been in failing health for a number of months, but until a few days ago was not in a dangerous condition. Then he fell and broke his hip. From the time of the accident he declined rapidly. He is survived by one son, Isaac, and three daughters, Mrs. Henry Swartout, Mrs. Andrew Deborde, and Miss Emily, all of Hamlet. Funeral services were conducted from the home, this morning."
