  	Obituary: "Mr. Herndon, Chamois, Dies William B. Herndon, 88 of Chamois, died Thursday morning at the Hermann Area Hospital, Hermann. He was born on Dec. 3, 1995, at Mint Hill, the son of James M. and Thirza E. Clark Herndon. He was married on March 17, 1907, at Mint Hill, to Elsie L. Boyce, who survives. He was a farmer and a life-long member of the Oklahoma Church of Christ, near Linn. Other survivors include: Five sons, Wilber F. Herndon, Linn James G. Herndon, Atlanda Ga., Ralph E. Herndon, Tustin, Calif., the Rev. W. H. Herndon, Lawrence, Kan., and Robert B. Herndon, Overland Park, Kan.; four daughters, Mrs. Winnie Schermerhorn, Overland Park, Kan., Mrs. Victor Branson, Morrison, Mrs. Alpha Pointer, Vallejo, Calif., and Mrs. John R. Lyon, Gasconade; two brothers, Everett Herndon, Owensville and Mitchell Herndon, Urichsville, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Emma Vuilcott, Chamois; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren."
