Mary "Polly" Walker, b. Abt 1790, Georgia, USA , d. Between 1861 and 1870, Tennessee, USA (Age ~ 71 years) |
Married |
Abt 1804 |
Georgia, USA [16] |
This marriage, which probably occurred around 1804 or 1805, when Mary "Polly" Walker was about 14 or 15, has been suggested to have occurred in Middle Tennessee. I suspect it may have actually occurred in Georgia, however, since George and Mary's first known child was Mary "Polly" Brazzell, born about 1805 Georgia.
Their second known child was Allen Brazzell, born in 1812, Tennessee, probably Dickson County.
Three additional females were born to George and Mary "Polly" (Walker) Brazzell between Mary and Allen, according to evidence from the 1820 census enumeration, which shows the family with four females between the ages of 10 and 16, or born between 1804-1810. [15]
