    Though FindAGrave and her cemetery marker give her birth as 16 October 1861, she was enumerated in July 1860 as 8 months old.

    This would support a birth month of about October but a birth year of 1859. It is likely that she was born on the month and day found on her stone, but in 1859, not 1861.
