Megee Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, Edgar Jack Megee of McPherson, Oklahoma and Russell Megee of Wagoner, Oklahoma; four sisters; Bonnie Williamson of Boston, Massachusetts, Connie Emerson of Coweta, Oklahoma, Imogene Barton of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Judy Adsit of Cleveland, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Whiteville Baptist Church with Brother Estel Grigg officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Roller Funeral Home. Interment will be in Gassville Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Gideon?s International. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.

My grandma Connie spent her life in Broken Arrow where she attended Elm Grove School and graduated from Broken Arrow High School. She was married to Orbie Emerson on November 8, 1952 and they were happily married for 51 years before Orbie's death in 2004. My grandma attended Hillcrest Nursing School and worked as a nurse at the Broken Arrow Hospital and later at St. Francis before her retirement in 1983. Connie was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow. Connie will be lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was always there when anyone was in need. She went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 after a brave battle with her illness. She leaves behind her son(my dad), a daughter in law, a daughter and a son in law, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
