He honorably served his country in the United Stated Army and was very proud to have served. Michael?s trade was in construction. He could do anything with a hammer and nails. He will always be remembered as a loving Son, Brother, Husband, and Grandfather. He leaves a hole in the hearts of many. Michael was preceded in death by; Parents, Norman Edward Hoop Sr., Emma Lucille (McCool) Hoop: Brother, Carl Robert Hoop Sr.: and Son, David Michael Hoop. He is survived by Sisters; Linda Mutters and Janet Davenport, and Brothers Norman (Bud) Hoop Jr. and John Hoop Sr., Children; Samantha (Hoop) Clayton, Toni (Hoop) Bassett, and Wendy (Hoop) Taylor. His Grandchildren include; Jacob David Clayton, Ethan Randall Bassett, Adalyn Michelle Bassett, and Haylie Lynn Bassett. Michael leaves behind an extended family and friends too numerous to list, but they all know He loved each and every one. A funeral service will be held at Niday ? Fairmont Funeral Home in Pasadena, Thursday, June 2, at 7:00pm., the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service."
