  Four emails from Kathleen, in quick succession. 1. Hi Janis, Nice to hear from you! Here's what I know about my Debordes: Kathleen Hogan Manuel b. 7/11/1956 Washington, DC John Joseph Hogan b. 2/22/1910 Troy, Montana Luella Deborde Hogan b. 1880 Homer, Nebraska Albert Franklin Deborde b. 1847 Galena, Jo Daviess County, Illinois John Franklin Deborde b. 1818 Placer, Tennessee Solomon Deborde b. 1791 North Carolina Those of us who descend from Solomon Deborde have never been able to get any further back, although it's pretty clear we are part of the larger Debord group that was in NC for so long. What relation does the dna show us as being? Kathleen 2. Incidentally, Solomon died in Nebraska and John F. died in Montana. So this was a multi-generational group that migrated across the country stopping in different states for different periods of time. For example, my grandmother left NE at the age of five with her father Al and her grandfather John, and assorted other relatives, and the whole group migrated to Montana, where John and Albert eventually died. It looks to me like something similar may have happened with the migration from NC to TN to IL to NE. 3. Sorry about all these separate emails! I believe I have also seen theories that our Solomon is a son of Wm. and Lydia. 4. Here is a site that claims Solomon is the son of Wm.
