  	This marriage appears to have ended. A Marie Howorth Mason is found in the California death index, b 17 April 1901, Iowa, mother's maiden name Downs. Ira and Marie's Crawford Co IA marriage record (Ancestry) states that her mother was Lucinda Downs and that she was 19 years old in 1919. Marie Mason's FindAGrave in Gilroy, Santa Clara County CA indicates birth of 1900 and death in 1950. It is not connected with any other family members. No census or other data indicates that they had children together. Although Ira married again, it appears that he had no issue. (Unconfirmed.)
