  Text	[Sent to me by Harold Reeves; it does not indicate what newspaper it was in, although it was probably the Mountain View Standard; the last line is missing.] "To the prescious memory of Ruby Stokes, infant and only daughter of W. W. and E. Docia Stokes born November 5, 1900, and passed away December 25, 1901. While the signals of the near approach of the birthday of our blessed Saviour were sounding from hill to hill and Christmas bells were ringing in village and town, the angels in heaven were flopping their wings making ready for a journey to earth for our darling babe that might join in his praise around his throne. The precious little bud was only permitted to live one year one month and twenty days. She is transplanted to bloom in heaven the Paradise of God, where there will be no rough hand to cull or pluck the lovely blossom. She leaves a sorrowing father and mother and six devoted brothers to mourn her loss. Farewell darling...."
