  Text	I'll try to answer your notes one at a time> << Are we to assume that by 1840 William, Soloman, and John are dead? And if the 5 in 1830 are brothers - why are none of their children appearing with households of their own by 1840? Do you happen to have approximate birth years listed for the five brothers? € >> Here is what I believe were the five brothers.€ Lots of speculation here and no real proof. 1. Wm born ca 1770; died before 1840 in White. Robert b 1800 was only son and 6 daughters;€ Robert d 1849 White, his widow Elizabeth shows on 1850 White. 2. John b 1775-80; m Jean Kilbe in 1804 Wilkes, Wm Debord was bondsman;€ have only found him in 1830 White; shows 2 sons and 2 daughters in 1830. 3. Benjamin b ca 1780; m Nancy Summers in 1809 Wilkes, Wm Deboard was bm. Benj died in 1840's White, Nancy shows on 1850 White.€ Benj had at least 7 daughters and 3 sons; one son prob died young.€ Most of the daughters prob m in White. one before 1830, 4 in the 1830's and 2 in the 1840's. 4. George b 1775-1780; m Lydia Debord in 1803 Surry Co NC, Ben Deboard was bm. George shows on 1820 and 1830 Surry then 1840 Washington VA.€ He probably died in the 1840's in Washington.€ George had 2 sons and 5 daughters.€ One son was probably the John Debord that married Emily Somers in 1831 Surry, then shows on 1840 Washington VA and 1850 McMinn TN.€ John prob died in 1850's in White, Emily shows in 1880 Texas Co MO. George Washington Deboard b 1832 in Washington Co VA was prob a son of John and shows on 1860 and 1870 White. 5. Solomon b 1790; m Margaret Franklin in 1818 in Sumner Co TN; then shows on 1820 and 1830 White; then 1840 Jo Daviess IL; the 1850 Grant WI, then 1860 Dakota NE; son John Franklin b 1819 in TN; m Sally Bloodworth in 1836 White; moved with father to Jo Daviess, Grant, Dakota; then shows in 1880 Meagher MT as a placer miner. So to summarize what I don't know on the male children of these 5 brothers?. Wm only had one son, Robert b 1800. Ben had 3 sons, Wm H. b 1832, one son b 1835-40, not present in 1850, and another son b 1825-30. John has at least 2 sons; one born 1810-15 and one born 1825-30. Solomon had 3 sons; John Franklin b 1819 in TN;€ Wm F. b 1837 in IL; and Thomas Jefferson b 1841 in Grant Co Wi. George had 2 sons; John b 1808 in Washington VA; came to White in 1850's and another son b 1810-15;€ the second son may have stayed in Surry or Washington or ? So that only leaves 3 likely Debords in White that is not assigned to one of these 5 brother.€ One of these unassigned is probably the Solomon Debord that m Mary Nicholls in 1833 Hamilton IL. I'm confusing me, so I'll quit.€ Let me know if I need to speculate more on the above
