• Notes

  These documents consist chiefly of letters written from Della to her daughter, Fartha/Faith Lonnem who had an interest in genealogy. Some of them are question sheets that were completed by Della at Faith's request. After Faith's death, the documents passed to her niece, Jesse Keenon (the granddaughter of Della). Jesse brought these documents with her to a family gathering in Mountain View, Howell County, Missouri, in the late 1990's. They were copied at Leon Walker's insurance office in Mountain View, and these copies are in my possession. As the oldest daughter, Della was in a position to know many things that the younger chidren did not know, and quotes extensively from things that her mother had told her.
