    Text Hello Janis,
I am sorry for the delay in writing to you, but we do not have a lot of time to do extra research. I have not really finished with the sources we have here, but I thought I would send you a partial response now. If you will send me your mailing address, I can send you photocopies of these documents. We charge 10 cents for copies from books, 25 cents for copies from microfilm. You do not need to pay until you receive the prints.
My most surprising finding is that William K Walker appears to have married Bridget's sister, Mary, after the death of Bridget. William K and Mary Walker had a son, Cleveland, born shortly before William's death in 1888. [Of course, I don't know for sure if the women were sisters, but they had the same last name.]
The Ancestry Census Index doesn't seem to like the name Cleveland, but he is listed with his mother in the 1900 and 1920 censuses. The 1900 census lists his father's nativity as Ireland, but the 1920 census says his father was born in Tennessee. There is a 24-year-old Mary Dolan working as a servant in San Francisco in the 1880 Census that might be the right Mary.
Mary is listed in the Stockton city directories as widow of WK and Cleveland lived with her until her death in 1926. He then moved to a different house with his wife, Flora. By 1926 Cleveland was a deputy sheriff. He had a variety of jobs before that. I do see Charles as an attendant at the State Hospital in the 1910 book, but there is no address listed for him. That means he was living outside the city limits. I do find the name Charles with other jobs in later books. I never see Robert or Monty in the city, but I haven't really studied the city directories. I think I saw George.
I don't think the boys' birth certificates would be as likely to name an exact city of birth for William K Walker as the marriage certificate or death certificate would.
