  Text	E-mail from my father on 29 May 1997: After numerous short conversations with Doyle Aldermatt I gave him a paper with a few of our connections to the Thorntons on it. Tuesday at coffee before I left he slipped me a piece of paper with the following information which he had got from his mother. It has little information relating to our direct line but I found it interesting. Following directions from someone ( a Collins) who works in a canoe rental there we wound past the hog farm and up a farm road along Spring Creek and found the Thoornton Cemetery. Actually there were only a few thorntons in it.€ The William and Francis mentioned above, who's farm it was, and their son Edgel and someone named Tellitha H Thornton b9/6/1844 d11/27/1960. I believe Tellitha is Uncle Jack Thornton's wife.€ She probably died early and was buried on her son's farm and Jack later died somewhere in OK.€ Anyway, it was a nice trip and a nice day and added a little bit to the Thornton picture.€ By another typical backwoods Walker Thornton, Crowder environs. Love Dad p.s.€ The first part of my video was lousy sound.€ The last 30 minutes pretty good.€ I'll get it sent.
