It is good to hear from you.€ I live in Spokane, WA...but we are in the process of moving to the Tri-Cities area...my husband is being transferred there...€ I am 53 years old. Somehow - it seems that we have a Campbell connection.€ I have been under the impression that Boyd and Matilda Campbell were buried in a cemetery in Summersville, Missouri - near James M. and Nancy C. Smith Campbell...that is according to a cousin of mine (ours)!!!€ Summersville is in Texas County---a few minutes drive north from Mountain View.€ I have written to the Historical Society, but no reply yet...I just reviewed what Cousin Wave sent me...James M. Campbell was born Nov. 1, 1850 and died Feb.20, 1923 ...His parents were Boyd Campbell and Elender Matilda?...both Nancy and James are buried in Summersville.€ Cousin Wave says that Grandfather James was an old "grouch" - while Grandmother Nancy was ever so nice - enjoying flowers and children - very similar to your grandmother.€ My lineage is:€ Boyd and Matilda Campbell Their son James M. Campbell b. 1850 Married Nancy Smith b. 1861 One of their sons John Calvin Campbell b. 1887€ Mt. View Married Tressa Gardner b. 1891 Their son Dale Gardner Campbell b. 1912 Mt. View Married Genevieve Danielson b. 1913 and I am one of their children b. 1944 I had checked Howell Co...and could not find Boyd and Matilda - but perhaps in Texas County...Let me know what you find...our history center is closed until the first week of January.
