  Text	«i» Hello Janis - It was so good to hear from you. I am a granddaughter of Jessie Ellen Storey, and the daughter of her Lu Dugger. I do not have a birth or death certificate of Minnie, but from my Aunt Leah's family bible and West Plains, MO court records her middle name is Hellen. My aunt Merle, now living in Springfield, MO and 94 years old, knew all of Samuel and Minnie's children well. She is in good health, but slowly forgetting a lot. I have the death of Minnie as 2 Jan 1899 and she is buried near Pitts, AR. She died shortly after Aunt Leah's birth and left these children to be raised by my grandmother. She was only 11 at the time. Grandma told me some interesting stories about her days then. Her grandma Hill was a big help to her. I believe you are right about Mary being a Ward. Aunt Leah said she thought that was her name. Do you have any info (dates etc) about Ella Hill a sister to Minnie and Mary? We have always wondered about George T. (Tomis) and realize that it could be a mix up with another George, but my aunt thinks it is possibly a cousin. That's another trail to follow! I am very excited to hear from you again and exchange info. I have picked up where my grandmother and her daughter Gail left off with genealogy, done a bit a quit, but now have more time and am working on Storey and, Dugger lines. Is there any Storey/Story reunions that you know of. I am going to Lawrenceville, VA in 2002 for a Dugger reunion. Is SC on the way.
